Lawn bookings
The club maintains a register of lawn bookings. This includes bookings for home matches, competitions, and club sessions. It may also include reservations for lawn maintenance. Please have a look at it.
If you wish to be able make your own bookings, please complete the (distinctly out of date) bookings request form and send it to Rhona. Or, perhaps rather easier, just send an e-mail to bookings@cornwall-croquet.info saying “I wish to be registered to use the Cornwall Croquet Club on-line booking system. I agree to my name, email address, telephone number and handicap(s) being stored on the database in the system.“
Rhona has also provided some excellent notes on how to make bookings which are worth looking at.
It’s best to book lawns if you wish to play outside arranged sessions and events. But if you do choose to play without making a booking you are strongly advised to first check the bookings register to make sure a lawn is free. Note that bookings always take precedence, and that you are expected to retire gracefully and without rancour if asked to vacate a booked lawn.
